The Movie Junior from 1994?

My girlfriend and I have recently brought up the movie Junior starring Arnold Schwarzenegger and were discussing it. I am pretty sure I remember him having to drink his pee in the movie in order to get pregnant but she swears he didn't have to but instead it was hormones he was drinking. Could someone please clarify for me.
