Horse Training Help!?

I asked before, but only got one answer- how do you get a horse used to a bridle? I've never had a problem training to accept a bit before, but I got this 3 yr old QH a few weeks ago- supposed to be ridden already, and he won't accept a bit- a lot of head tossing, striking. His teeth are fine, and I'm trying to put it on the correct way, with a lot of coaxing and slowly. It seems he may have been nose twitched. I've been working with him accepting me touching his nose, but he knows and hates the bridle already. They didn't say that they used a hackamore. Any suggestions? I'm not looking to hire a trainer- I've trained horses with the bridle before, but they were green and this one seems to have a problem- due to possible twitching. Help please!
