Why do Kobe fans always bring up rings in the Lebron discussion?

If rings don't matter than there would be no point in a regular season, then they would change it to a skill contest. also basketball is a team sport, but let's face it without kobe shaq wouldn't win that much rings and Gasol would win none the lakers this year wouldn't win without kobe, they probably go deep but not win it. Skilled player (MJ) + above average cast = rings without a skilled player there would be no rings you get me? People bring up rings because the players skill got them those rings if lebron was that skilled than he should have had a ring by now espically since he's only been to the finals once and got swept lol and the eastern confrence is weaker so stop the hype on lebron because he's just like blake griffin, there flashy and skilled but not skilled enough to lead the team to a championship.
