Know of an AWD hybrid car/suv, that has tight steering and suspension, good cargo space and doesn't cost 40k?

I'm looking for good mpg, environmentally friendly, excellent in the snow/mountains (hence the AWD), plenty of cargo space, and handles like a decent sport car, not a marshmallow-y SUV. Oh, yeah and I'm not loaded with cash...
