Is my boyfriend a deadbeat?

i have been with this guy for almost 3 months, he never takes me out to dinner, when we go out he never pays for stuff: last time went to the movies i paid for myself. he wont pick me up; i always have to drive to his house. i feel as though i put him on a high pedestool and he just doesnt really care about me. what should i do. i dont want to lose him, he is the first guy in a long time that i actually liked for more than a month.
