I think women who can support themselves shouldn't receive alimony after divorce. What do you think?

As a general answer I completely agree with you. If a woman is capable of working, the man should not be required to support her. There are situations, however, where I feel alimony is warranted. There are women who have, at their husband's request, stayed home, raised the children and have limited qualifications required for the job marked of today. IF the marriage is dissolved and the woman was found to be at NO FAULT in causing the breakup or in the marriage, I feel she should be awarded alimony. I am not an advocate of women taking advantage of men due to divorce, but there are cirstances where I feel alimony is warranted.
