Why do people still support Obama?

Going back to the elections, Obama was known for sitting in a church for 20 years listening to an ignorant "Reverend Wright." He promised to bring troops home and sends thousands to Afghanistan. He wants to raise taxes for everyone. His health care reform was extremely flawed. There is a good chance Obama is an illegal immigrant (read about Phil Berg). Other than Obama being black, and giving good speeches, I can't find any other reason why people would still support Obama.
