Is Lucifer an acceptable name for a kid?

Lucifer is the name of satan, lol, but Even if it wasn't I think the name just sounds evil, lol. When naming your child think of how he will be treated for the name he has. It's awful, but kids (and adults) are cruel. Martha used to be a popular name in 1920, thats my grandma's name, but I knew a girl in school named Martha and poor girl was constantly picked on.
