Does the Bible forbid the Christmas tree, read the quote first?

Although this page of scripture has been ociated in reference to the modern Christmas tree, it is not talking about that. Rather, it is in reference to heathen practices of religion that involved decorating "wooden" idols made by the trunk of the tree, which was branch-less, mind you, in order so that they could properly worship them. Many scholar's of the Bible and dedicated pastor's of the Word do not ociate this verse as referring to the modern Christmas tree. Christians should not feel guilty, in the least, for having a Christmas tree in their house.
